Really interested on where they take the Black Panther franchise, especially since T'Challa won't be recast.

If the Fantastic FOur will fill in one of those slots...then they need to figure out the casting pretty quick

That was a great way to kick off the week, so god damn hyped for what the MCU is going to bring going forward. We thought the first slate of movies was insane but I feel like we will look back in a couple of years and realize how they barely scratched the surface.

Marvel Studios presents Marvel's The Marvels.

Tagline: "Marvel at the Marvelous Marvels!"

Marvel's The Marvelous Ms. Marvels.

Marvel Cinematic Universe is the biggest achievement in cinema ever. And I'm serious.
I agree completely. Take even into account the crazy workings between Paramount, Sony, and Disney actually working together. To even get over that hurdle is monumental, then you go all the way back to Iron Man, which was really a pet project from Favreau with a studio that honestly had no interest in anything that was being done. Favreau wanted to just throw that little tease in there for fans at the end, and everything started falling into place.

It will never be done again.

Much like Doctor Strange, F4 will be Feiges movie. He's not going to fight with some director over what the F4 should be. Maybe loosen the reigns once the baseline is established though.

More than that, Feige knows Watts and what he can do, and I guarantee they are 100% on the same page about FF.

That's one hell of a video. I'm hyped for Eternals almost as much as Endgame, it looks so fresh and unique. Also great titles especially Wakanda Forever is a great tribute to Chadwick.

So a few things:

Finally some Eternals footage! We must be getting closer to that teaser trailer.

Wakanda Forever...that's going to be something. Man, really curious what Coogler and the gang figured out regarding Chadwick's passing.

The Marvels is such a GOOD sequel name given all the Marvel related characters starring in it. Also I'm calling it now, Blue Marvel will get an introduction here as well.

So...Blade is 2024 then? No title and nothing

It's a little odd they didn't mention it but I have a feeling we'll hear about it in the summer. Feige said we'd hear about it "soon"

Cap, Hulk, Thor, and Iron Man teaming up after the solo films seems quaint now. We're getting Kang and Doom and Spider-Verse and Kamala and Gorr and Sersi and Quasar.

Also also I guess Blade is confirmed Phase 5? Sigh.

Can you explain what you mean if you mean this as criticism? To me it looks like a major step up for the look of MCU films.

Hopefully I can watch all these movies on release date through Disney+. I don't mind dropping 20-30 bucks to avoid the theatre.

Also worth noting is how much of this is team up stuff. Eternals, Ant-Man, Spider-Man, The Marvels, F4 are all potentially Avengers-level events.

Eternals looks good!
Wakanda Forever is a good title. I'm still nervous for the Black Panther future since T'challa isn't being recast.
The Marvels is... interesting. Though makes sense since we're getting Ms. Marvel sometime soon. She'll probably show up there along with Monica Rambaeu (as shown in WandaVision).
Dat Fantastic Four tease.

it's a bit

people used to whine about 'mcu movies look like tv shows'

I get chills during the Avengers Assemble scene every time without fail.

Same. I had forgotten how much that impacted me when I saw the movie in the theaters. The culmination of 10 years worth of storytelling. Hell of a moment.

Just making fun of the nudniks who always find something to complain about with the MCU. That was an oldie.

It's the kinda thing that I don't think has ever been done with movies - and I don't think it ever will be pulled off again.

It still blows my mind that Feige and co managed to capture the feeling of reading comic books complete with tie-ins and crossover events on film, and that's exactly what they set out to do.

"But Kevin Fiege is KILLING the movies!"

lol

A bigger 'lol' for me is remembering people on this forum complaining about bootleg footage of audience reactions to Endgame, and now Marvel literally just features them in this video haha.

I'll never forget watching Endgame with a full audience going crazy. That took me back.

Nothing at all for Blade.....no logo.....no release date. Is this film actually going to happen or what?

I can't remember where I read it, but I remember reading that Blade was not part of the plan at all. And it was announced really early and was years away.

They wanted Ali. Ali wanted to be Blade. So Marvel said deal and they'd figure out how to make it work.

There are still a couple unclaimed dates in 2023 (though assuming one of them will be F4). Presumably Blade will just move on Ali's schedule though. I don't think that was really a priority before and it sounds like it only came about because Ali phoned Feige and said he wanted to do it.

Mads or Fassbender for Doom.

The movie takes place prior to IW/Endgame

Edit: It might be between the two, but definitely prior to her death.

The movie plays before Endgame. Iirc, it's between Infinity War and Endgame? Dunno ... though it's definitely before Endgame. ^^
Mads or Fassbender for Doom.

I don't think they can use Mads Mikkelsen after he basically was the faced villain of Dr. Strange.

Pugh it's definitely a nice get for the MCU going forward, I just don't know how much I personally need a feature film dedicated to a dead character that hasn't really won me over in however many movies she's already been in. And then following that with 2 new properties is an interesting strategy.

I feel like the real "the MCU is back!" moment comes with Spider-Man in December.

I dont know how you can discount Shang Chi and The Eternals.

It's weird, and I've seen this sentiment a lot. As if Iron Man was a well known property in 08.
